we use is for single pronounsin the present like :
he , she , it
example :
1- He is a teatcher.
2- She is in age 15.
3- It is a long tree.

* we use are for ploural pronouns in the present like :
you , we , they
exaamples:
1- You are anomani student.
2- We are in Oman.
3- They are clever
